Rezeš dies

Alexander Rezeš, a man considered by many as the wealthiest living Slovak, died on Friday at the age of 54 after a heart operation in a Vienna hospital. Rezeš, a former Transport Minister in the 1994-1998 Vladimír Mečiar government, also was boss of the VSŽ steel mill and the HZDS’ 1998 campaign manager.
