Allianz takes green flag

The Anti-Monopoly Office has approved the purchase of a 91 per cent stake in state insurer Slovenská poisťovňa by the German Allianz for 145 million euros six months after the deal was inked. Allianz, in addition to its existing Slovak firm, will now control 70 per cent of the Slovak insurance market.
