Podbrezová has record year in 2001

Steel maker Železiarní Podbrezová has reported 2001 as its best year ever with net earnings of Sk274 million ($6 million) on turnover of just over Sk5 billion ($110 million). The firm turned out over 291,000 tonnes of steel, over 80 per cent of which was for foreign markets.
