Highway construction falls behind

Cabinet is behind schedule on the construction of Slovakia’s highway, with only a 6.4 kilometre-long strip likely to be completed before September elections. Several highway projects have been postponed until next year while the biggest project, Branisko tunnel, will be completed next year at the earliest.
