Beer sales up for 1H02

SLOVAK BREWERIES sold 2.9 million hectolitres of beer in the first seven months of 2002, a nine per cent increase on the same period in 2001, largely through increased production by the four biggest players - Heineken, Šariš, Topvar and Steiger.
