September 11 as presented in the media

THE US EMBASSY in Slovakia and the Center for Independent Journalism recently opened an exhibition in Bratislava's Focus Gallery that maps media coverage of the terrorist attack on the US last September.

The exhibition, entitled 'Headlines of History: September 11, 2001 - The Story as Seen Around the World', features the front pages of the leading American and international newspapers. A 12-minute video adds a digest of the major news reported by various TV stations.

Focus Gallery is at Štúrova 9, near the downtown Bratislava Tesco supermarket, and is open Mon-Fri from 10:00 to 17:00. The exhibition runs until September 30.
