A spokesman for the US firm Warburg Pincus has said talks on a takeover of drugs maker Slovakofarma, long a blue chip on the Bratislava bourse, have entered the final stages.
Warburg has said that after acquiring Slovakofarma it will merge it with the Czech Lečiva to create a larger regional player.
