More cops driving drunk

TWO POLICE officers are to be fired from the force following car accidents they caused while driving under the influence of alcohol.

One of the officers, 21-year-old Jozef J. from the southern Slovak town of Šoporňa, crashed his motorbike into a parked car and suffered severe body injuries and brain concussion.

The other policeman, a recent graduate from Košice's police academy, crashed in the northern Slovak village of Oravský Podzámok. No injuries were reported in that accident.
