Confidence vote today

Parliament is scheduled today to vote on the government’s programme statement, which at the same time will be a vote of confidence in the new Dzurinda cabinet. The vote needs the support of 76 members in the 150-seat house to pass; the parties of the ruling coalition command 78 members.
