Average age rises in Slovakia

A DEMOGRAPHIC study by a state social research agency predicted that by 2050, the average age of the Slovak population will be 48 rather than 36 as it is now, while people 65 and over will outnumber 17-year-olds by 2:1, the opposite of today's situation.
