First Devín Banka offender charged

POLICE have charged a Japanese national with fraud in the 2001 crash of Devín Banka after finding a letter issued by a Hong Kong bank and confirming a $70 million deposit had been a forgery. The bank failure cost the state Sk11 billion ($265 million).

Other charges are expected to come in the near future, said the police.
