MOL increases Slovnaft holding

THE HUNGARIAN refinery MOL took an additional 31.6 per cent of shares in the Slovak refinery Slovnaft on November 24 to become the owner of 67.8 per cent of Slovnaft.

The transaction, worth $360 million and including the transfer of 10 per cent of MOL shares to former Slovnaft owners Slovintegra and Slovbena, was a follow-up to MOL's capital entry in Slovnaft in 2000.
