More cops charged with abetting criminals

Two policemen, including the head of the Nitra criminal branch, were charged with money laundering, bribery and extortion offences related to a highway sticker fraud allegedly organised by Nitra crime boss Ľuboš Ferus.

Ferus, who was remanded in custody earlier this year, was later released by a judge who felt the police were not proceeding quickly enough with the case.
