Car theft ring in east busted

POLICE in east Slovakia's Košice arrested four men and issued warrants for several others suspected of being part of the largest auto-theft ring in Slovak history, involving 34 trucks and 50 cars discovered so far on the premises of the firm Prof-Car.

Four local police officers from the traffic inspectorate are also believed to have worked for the gang.
