Cops bust Mafia party

Police SWAT teams broke up a birthday celebration of a 27-year-old man they called a leading Mafia figure from south Slovakia, searching 141 guests and declaring the underworld would not be allowed such flagrant displays of strength in future.

The guest list, according to police vice-president Jaroslav Spišiak, included well-known businessmen and female media personalities, although no policemen.
