Letter to the Editor: Fico should listen to the people

Re: Fico: Early elections a possibility, News Shorts, Vol 9, No 1, Jan 13 to 19

It would seem that, still smarting over his failure to win voters' trust last September, Mr Fico would simply like to re-write history. He obviously doesn't trust his own countrymen and women; he simply can't believe they didn't choose him in the election. This man is a self-interested egotist, the like of which Slovakia can do without for the time being. He should learn to both accept and respect the decision of a democracy. Only then will Mr Fico look like a mature politician rather than an arrogant opportunist.
