Reader feedback: Stay Neutral

RE: Vote NATO, but vote, Editorial, Vol 9, No 2, Jan 20 to 26

There is an another option: staying neutral. Some European countries are not part of NATO. Would it be a problem if the referendum turned out that way [if there is one]? I do not see any problem with that.

Let NATO fight its own battles. Slovakia is an independent state and could stay that way. Ukraine could be the next member, if that is what geography has taught us.

Maybe membership in the [EU] would be enough for the Slovak Republic.
