Plenty of bidders for insurance house UBP

The Slovenska Sporitelna (SP) savings bank said that several bidders have made preliminary offers for the insurance company UBP, which is partly owned by SP.

SP owns a 46 per cent stake in UBP, and the remaining shareholders are Slovenska Konsolidacna with 30 per cent and Postova bank with 10 per cent.

The bidders are expected to start due diligence audits of UBP this month.
