HZDS caucus split a reality soon

A GROUP within the opposition HZDS party of former PM Vladimír Mečiar says it will leave the HZDS caucus to form an independent MP group February 25.

The splinter group is led by Vojtech Tkáč, who has criticised the HZDS for what he sees as a lack of democracy.

In response, the HZDS leadership said it would demand the return of mandates from MPs who plan to leave.
