Mečiar telegrams rebels

The HZDS opposition party leader Vladimír Mečiar sent telegrams to 11 MPs who recently announced plans to form an independent parliamentary caucus in protest at Mečiar's authoritarian leadership.

The telegrams state that the rebels will be stripped of HZDS membership unless they reverse their decision to quit the party caucus.
