Unemployment seen falling

THE NATIONAL Labour Office says it expects the unemployment rate to fall this year by 1 per cent to about 17.6 per cent as a result of cabinet reforms and general economic growth. At the end of January, the Labour Office estimated the jobless rate in Slovakia to be 19.29 per cent.
