Eight bidders in SE privatisation

The privatisation commission for the sale of the Slovak energy plant SE handed over the recommendations of the cabinet's privatisation advisor PriceWaterhouseCoopers to eight preliminary bidders in the tender. It will meet with them again in three weeks.

The names of the bidders were not made public, but it is believed that they include Electricite de France, German concerns E.ON and RWA, and British Energy and International Power.
