Bereuter: Slovaks would vote for NATO

Head of NATO's parliamentary assembly Douglas Bereuter said he believed that despite falling popular support for NATO entry, Slovaks would vote in favour if a referendum on the issue takes place.

According to existing legislation, a referendum on entry into NATO is not required but anti-NATO activists are campaigning in favour of the vote.
