Hrušovský to rerun for KDH chairman

PAVOL Hrušovský will run for chairmanship of the Christian Democratic Party (KDH) at the party's congress in Spišská Nová Ves on April 5.

The KDH board approved Hrušovský's nomination in Bratislava on February 15, and will propose the candidacy at the April congress. The board also approved František Mikloško as the KDH's candidate for the presidential election, scheduled to be held in spring 2004.

Additionally, the board proposed the reelection of the current party vice-chairs - Vladimír Palko (vice-chairman for media and external relations), Daniel Lipšic (internal policy), Ján Figeľ (foreign relations), Július Brocka (economy), and Pavol Minárik (regional administration).
