Hewlett-Packard tender uncertain

HEWLETT-PACKARD, the winner of a classified IT-system tender at the Defence Ministry, may not get the job after all, as questions remain over the firm's Slovak head Peter Weber's past cooperation with the communist secret service.

The national vetting authority the NBÚ has not yet issued a statement about whether or not Weber is trusted to access classified information.
