Firms plan massive workforce cuts

Labour offices in Slovakia expect an influx of about 20,000 unemployed people soon as hundreds of local firms, including large energy companies such as the SPP gas firm, energy utility SE, and a Slovnaft refinery, announced massive workforce cuts.
