IN LIGHT of Slovakia's history of invalid referendums due to low voter turnout, head of the EC delegation to Slovakia Eric van der Linden said an information campaign would be key to the country's success in a scheduled popular vote on EU entry in May.
Meanwhile, special envoy to Slovakia and member of the European Parliament (MEP) Jan Marinus Wiersma said the Slovak cabinet had to present him with plans for dealing with the Roma minority and corruption if he is to recommend that Slovakia be admitted to the EU.
