New investment agency boss outlines priorities

The new head of Slovak investment agency SARIO, Ladislav Balko, believes there are four basic areas that need improvement to attract more foreign investment to Slovakia, the first being "to create an image of the country," because "abroad we are often confused with Slovenia."

He also sees the need to create more attractive economic conditions for investors, and the need to improve both pre- and post-investment activities.
