Texas blues star in Bratislava

LEGENDARY blues guitarist Albert Collins called him "one of the brightest young stars on the blues scene today".

Carvin Jones, born in Texas in 1966, started to play guitar at the age of 11. Influenced by such top players as B.B. King, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton, Jones later got to perform with some of them. In 1998 his band opened for Santana in Phoenix.

Jones will be performing in Bratislava on Sunday, March 16 at 19:00 at Klub za zrkadlom House of Culture, Rovniankova 3, Bratislava-Petržalka. For more information call 02/6381-1328.
