EU warns Slovakia about delays

The European Commission warned Slovakia by letter on Friday that it has not yet fulfilled its commitments on regional politics, coordination of structural funds, and harmonization of financial laws.

According to EU negotiator Ján Figeľ, all the candidate countries except Slovenia received such warnings, and Slovakia was in a better position than most of them.
