EU accession treaty ready

The text of the EU accession treaty that Slovakia should sign at the EU summit in Athens on April 16 is now available to the public.

The 5,000 page document has been translated into Slovak and can be viewed at the website of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

"This is the most comprehensive and most important international treaty concerning Slovakia since the foundation of an independent Slovak Republic," said EU negotiator Ján Figeľ.
