Czech and Slovak units under media spotlight

Czech and Slovak chemical protection units are the most visited by the media in Kuwait because they go out on patrol rather staying locked in barracks, according to the daily SME.

The newspaper reports that the troops have been visited by many of the world's media organisations, including CNN, Fox News, and the BBC.

The Czech and Slovak units will be responsible for protecting Kuwaiti citizens in the event of a chemical or biological attack by Iraqi forces.
