Dzurinda reiterates support for US

Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda has once again expressed his support for the US and its intention to disarm the Iraqi regime.

Druzinda said: "Twelve years and 17 resolutions by the UN Security Council were not enough to command the attention of Saddam Hussein regarding the fundamental questions of international peace and security."

The opposition party Smer last week called for the recall of the Slovak chemical protection unit from Kuwait if there was no second UN resolution.
