SDKÚ donor received Sk100 million from state firms

Proxor Slovakia Internationale Spedition, which donated Sk500,000 (12,000 euro) to leading coalition party SDKÚ in 2000, received more than Sk100 million (2.4 million euro) in orders from state firms in 2002.

SDKÚ spokesperson Martin Maťko said, "I don't see any connection between the sponsor's donation and the receipt of orders from state firms".

Further orders worth more than Sk10 million (240,000 euro) have also been received from state-owned Slovak Railways by Proxar chairman Ivan Petríček, as an individual.
