Slovak Telecom remains profitable despite drop in earnings

Slovak Telecom (ST) reported profits of Sk3.47 billion (82.7 million euro) last year. Revenues fell by Sk1.27 billion (30.3 million euro) to Sk18.84 billion (449 million euro).

ST earned Sk12.84 billion (306 million euro) from its monopoly telephone services, despite a drop in the number of fixed lines from 1.58 million to 1.46 million.
