Student fees from January

UNIVERSITY students will have to pay fees of Sk7,000 to Sk12,000 (170 to 290 euro) per year if a new law on education is passed, according to Education Minister Martin Fronc.

The new law would also update the system of student loans, doubling the student's annual loan available to Sk 40,000 (960 euro).
