US army dolphins use Slovak software

SLOVAK software is being used in the training of US army dolphins that are now searching for mines in the Iraqi port of Umm Qasr. Last November, US marines purchased the 3D data visualisation software from Dimension 5, based in the western Slovak town of Hlohovec.

"The software is useful for cases where it is necessary to reveal hidden connections between data when it is not possible through normal views of the data," said Dušan Toman, one of the owners of the firm.
