Students already paying for education

STUDENTS are paying for external studies, despite last year's education law forbidding universities from charging undergraduate studies. The money is being collected as "voluntary" donations, or is paid to organisations connected to universities, insiders say.

Peter Mederly, head of the universities section of the Education Ministry said, "Nothing is even written about entrance-exam fees. A student has the right to ask for free education from the universities. That is the advice I give everyone."
