Slovan Bratislava wins hockey league

Slovan Bratislava has won the domestic ice-hockey league after beating HC Košice 4:1 in the final on April 8. This is their third consecutive title, and fourth overall since the league began in 1993.

This year's top hockey league has had record viewing figures of 830,000 this year. Last year Slovakia won the world ice-hockey championships.
