Plans for new Vatican treaty

SLOVAKIA may become the first country to sign a treaty on the exercising of conscientious objections with the Vatican.

Under the agreement, currently being drawn up by the Justice Ministry, doctors would have the right not to prescribe contraception, judges could refuse to take on divorce cases, and teachers could refuse to teach sex education.
