THE SLOVAK military says it has excess materials and property worth almost Sk47 million (1.1 million euro) that it wants to sell before 2008.
Officials say it is difficult to predict the prices that the property will fetch on the market.
"Last year we managed to return about Sk83 million (2 million euro) to state funds, about Sk3 million (73,000 euro) more than we had planned to," explained Lieutenant-Colonel Milan Tomrácky from the Defence Ministry's department for investment and acquisitions.
The sales will be through open tender, and will include everything from trucks and compressors to buildings.
