Tesco to offer Slovak products in UK

BRITAIN'S chain store operator Tesco intends to intensify its relationship with Slovak suppliers by shifting the purchasing team for Slovakia from Prague to Bratislava and offering Slovak products on the UK market, according to Tesco Stores head of corporate international affairs, Peter Bracher.

In 2002 Tesco was Slovakia's largest retailer with a reported preliminary turnover of Sk16.5 billion (400 million euro) for the year.
