Molex prepares further Slovak investment

MOLEX Slovakia is expecting a further $1.6 million (1.5 million euro) investment to its plant in Kechnec industrial park near Košice, where it produces plastic parts for the motor industry.

The company currently employs 600 people in the region, and the new investment should bring a further 50 to 100 jobs.

The investment is part of a 10-year plan agreed with the Slovak government in 2000, which should bring investments totalling $75 million (70 million euro).
