EU referendum billboards up

The EU-entry referendum campaign has officially started, with 400 billboard advertisements across the country, free information telephone lines, and web pages, in advance of the May 16 and 17 referendum.

There will also be a series of concerts and discos to promote the referendum for younger people in May, two weeks before the referendum takes place.

The Czech Republic, which has its referendum a month after Slovakia's, has had campaign billboards up for several weeks.
