SPP lawyer under investigation

Promissory notes worth Sk25 million (€610,000) paid by Slovak gas company Slovenský plynárenský priemysel (SPP) to its lawyer, Ernest Valko, are being investigated by the Attorney General's Office following an anonymous tip-off that they were not in order, according to the daily SME.

The prosecutors must explain the further steps they expect to take within 30 days.
