EBRD: Slovak economy to grow

THE EUROPEAN Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) increased the competitive rating for Slovakia on April 22, saying the country can look forward to continuing high economic growth this year.

The main risks are political difficulties in exercising fiscal changes and development of export markets, the bank said.

The Slovak economy rose by 5.4 percent in the last quarter, 4.4 percent year-on-year.
