Letter to the Editor: All about power

Re: Look at the people, not the countries, Reader feedback, April 21 - 27, Vol 9, No 15

I don't think many governments actually represent their people. Instead, they represent their own self interest and only worry about getting back into power in the next election.

The population of any country shouldn't be judged by the actions of its government. I think that most people in the world just want a safe, peaceful existence with enough money to live on, enough food and shelter, and access to medical services.
