Once Upon a Time in the Midlands (Vtedy v Midlands) - Comedy by Shane Meadows. In the style of a spaghetti western touched by British black humour. A small-time crook Jimmy (Robert Carlyle) tries to win back his ex-girlfriend Shirley after she is proposed to on a daytime chat show by his rival in love, Rhys Ifans. Shirley seems destined to succumb to Jimmy's charms, but he hasn't reckoned on the obstacles - the angry local "cowboys".
Cradle to the Grave (Kolíska do hrobu) - Action movie by Andrzej Bartkowiak. Kung fu meets hip-hop. Jet Li as a Taiwanese cop and rapper/actor DMX playing a burglar meet up on a mission in which they have to rescue a kidnapped child, find stolen diamonds, and prevent the distribution of a deadly weapon. A martial-arts thriller from the director of Romeo Must Die.
X-Men 2- Sci-fi by Bryan Singer. Film based on a cult comic strip, tells the story about the fight between good and evil. Mutants, who serve humanity and defend mankind, get attacked by a mad army chief and scientist (Brian Cox). The episode presents the mythology of the X-Men with old and new characters.
The Hot Chick (Sexi kosť)- Comedy by Tom Brady. Jessica (Rachel McAdams) is the most popular girl in high school but she gets a big dose of reality when she wakes up in the body of a 30-something lowlife man (Rob Schneider). The guy has to get rid of the spell and the teenager has to convince her friends of her real identity.
Heaven (Nebo) - Drama by Tom Tykwer. Cate Blanchett plays English teacher Philippa who attempts to kill a drug dealer but four innocent people become the victims of her attack instead. Policeman Fillipo (Giovanni Ribisi) is the only one who believes her story and because he is convinced that they are destined for each other, he is willing to do anything to free her. Based on the last screenplay by the late Krysztof Kieslowski. In English and Italian.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (Ako prísť o muža za 10 dní) - Comedy by Donald Petrie. Journalist Andie (Kate Hudson) has to write an authentic article about how to get rid of a man in love. Her object of interest is Benjamin (Matthew McConaughey), a PR agent, who has just made a bet with his boss that he can break the heart of any girl he likes. One of them is lying. And so is the other one.

Tears of the Sun (Slzy slnka)- Thriller by Antoine Fuqua. Bruce Willis, along with his special team, is rescuing Monica Belucci, who plays an American doctor running a mission for refugees in war-torn Africa. The veteran navy officer finds himself deeply conflicted choosing between following orders and his own conscience. (4/10)
Johnny English- Comedy by Peter Howitt. Another James Bond parody movie with British comedian Rowan Atkinson in the role of a secret agent who has to find stolen crown jewels. John Malkovich plays the villain in the movie and Johnny's charming female colleague is Australian pop star Natalie Imbruglia. (7/10)
The Ring (Kruh)- Thriller by Gore Verbinsky. This remake of a Japanese film of the same name tells the story of a journalist researching the mystery of a videotape that brings death to those who watch it. The enigmatic story with evocative music by Hans Zimmer might cause existential fears and stop you from picking up the phone for a while. (9/10)
