SNS founder leaves party

THE FOUNDER of the Slovak National Party (SNS), Jozef Prokeš, has left the party in protest at the leadership practices of Anna Malíková.

Malíková said she believes that "Prokeš will revise his decision, when he calms down". She told the daily SME that she had a suggestion for Prokeš, but did not want to discuss it in public.

The party failed to elect a new leader at its congress on April 28. Prokeš and Malíková were both candidates.
