THE SLOVAK government approved the purchase of a 10 percent share in Západoslovenská energetika from German company E.ON by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The EBRD will pay €60 million for the shares.
As the majority shareholder, the government's approval was necessary for the transfer from E.ON's 49 percent share in the company.
